Mafia is a great game, and would be an excellent but there something that is stopping it from being excellent. The game's gameplay is missing a mini-map. Now mini-map are standard in this type of game and by the year 2000 should be standard on all games. If there is no min-map it just be a start to end level or something in that nature. Now this game is environment in huge 2x that of GTA III (PC)'s environment. With out any kind of map this game became very frustrating and I did not want to play it after like 20 minutes it was just not providing me with fun but frustration because I had no clue where I am going to how to get back where I started. Other then this major fact the game has every thing pretty well made. The sound effects are good, not the best but not bad. The graphics are great, but I had expected them to be a tad bit better… The storyline of this game is great… I would of really liked to see how the game unfolded but with no mini-map or any kind of map, I just gave up. If this game had offered any type of map it would have been awesome but it didn't and so as you can see I am really upset and disappointed. I had high hopes for this game… but it turns out to be a disappointment… I do not recommend this game to any gamer… Please stay away from it, you will become disappointed like I did if you get this game… If you played GTA III then imagine playing that your first time with no mini-map… would you think it would be the same, quality wise, as it is with the mini-map… I would have been happy if the game had a map in the box but it didn't and that is a disappointment! How can a game with so much potentially become this bad?
