In my opinion Fable is a great game! The reason some people may not like it may be because it was in development for seven years. I personally think that the longer a game is in its developing stage the better it will come out to be. Still, with knowing that it was in development for seven year the game is not perfect but I have to admit it does a good job coming close to it. Lets start of with the sound effects first. The sound effects are on point; as well as the music, which goes very well with the game. The voice acting has never been better and unlike many other RPGs that I have played there are lots of dialogue lines that you hear from the NPCs. So all in all the sound effects are awesome… I mean you would think that they would be after this game being seven years in development. Moving on to the graphics. Well what can I say about them… they are stunning Xbox graphics. I enjoyed looking at the well-made environments and the level of detail tat they had. Now what this RPG does that I have not seen in any other RPG is that the character's look change in great detail due to if your alignment is good or bad. I think this is an excellent idea for an RPG game and future RPG games could use this, hopefully. The character can get scars, his hair changes, his body changes, and horns can be grown. Truly these are great idea that they had thought up in seven years of development. I am really amazed with the graphics of this game, and look forward seeing what Fable 2 will offer! Now here is where the game gets all of it issues and problem that come up, though there are not many. First for an RPG game the storyline is good but a little to simple if you ask me. In my opinion an expanded storyline would of mad this game shorter. Which leads me to the replay value, because of the storyline being so basic this game only lasts 8-10 (depending how good you are at RPGs) a single game from the beginning to the end. However, I had decided to play this game two times. First time took me 8 hours and the second took me 7 hours, a grand total of 15 hours. 15 hours worth of gameplay for 49.99$ which was developed in 7 years… isn't the best deal, but it is defiantly a great game, just a little short if you ask me. Now for the main part of this game's review, it's gameplay. Being recruited into the Hero Guild, you have to travel the environment (which is really detailed) solving quests. The quests are great nothing too easy or hard for bizarre for that matter… Like I had stated in the storyline you can be good or evil its your choice, and each quest effects you alignment The game does a good variety of weapons, armor, potions, and other items. Each town NPC live their lives and talk about the good or evil things that you have accomplished, I think this makes the game really realistic. You may also buy property and fall in love with a man or women. All these things are great additions to an RPG game. I am truly fascinated with the gameplay. All in all this is an excellent RPG game is a must have to all gamers who enjoy an RPG here and there, truly a fantastic game. I recommend it to everyone!
