After playing Halo: Combat Evolved many times and playing it with my friends. Halo was one of the best console games that I have played. So I had high expectations for Halo 2. Mostly this game delivered one what I had hoped it to be. The gameplay is better then ever. I mean having duel weapons is a great addition along with the new aliens added and a couple of other small thing. The gameplay is truly great but the question is it really something new to offer you? This game's gameplay does deliver what any Halo fan would want but it isn't much different from the original Halo. I mean the thing with this game's gameplay is that it doesn't need to be edited; it's addictive and will continue to be addictive for a long time. Maybe sometime later in the future it will get to be average gameplay but for this current time Halo's gameplay will be good as long as you keep adding minor details to it. The storyline of Halo 2 was supposed to be great. Don't get me wrong it is. However, I was really disappointed with it. Why? It didn't deliver on what I wanted it to be, so now I have to wait for Halo 3 to come out to play the Halo storyline I wanted. For me instead of being Halo 2 this game is more like Halo 1.5 (storyline wise). However, it's not a bad storyline it just all time waiting for Halo 2 and this is all they came up! The replay value was good on Halo you fought? Well guess what it perfect in Halo 2. Got Xbox Live? Well this a must have for you. The multiplayer really draws you in make you crave for more and more, especially with Xbox Live. Don't have Xbox Live? Well, that not to bad either! I mean you still got you LAN connection., with 16 players max.. It is super fun playing it with friends or Xbox Live; it's just so addictive. Did I mention your own personal character characterization? That right edit your character how you want, either for LAN, Xbox Live, or even both types of games. The graphics are improved a lot. However, I did see a couple glitches here and there, but that ok for this game's graphics. The sound effects are great but have they changed for Halo? Not really I did witness any new sound effects except maybe for the new characters. This game isn't much different from the original Halo. Should you buy it? Of course, especially if you like playing on LAN or Xbox Live. This is a great game and is a must have for all Xbox owners.
