This is a pretty decent expansion pack. I mean it does everything that an expansion pack is meant to do but it really offers nothing that revolutionizes the game. This expansion pack basically allows you to play battle in Italy. So, basically it adds new maps, new vehicles, and new weapons other then that it is the same game. I was expecting something that would change the way that Battlefield 1942 was going to be played but it really doesn't do that, just adds a whole bunch of new stuff. The gameplay is better due to these new additions to the game. The replay value will now be even longer since you have a whole bunch of new maps to play on. The graphics have been improved; there are less glitches which is a good thing that this expansion pack offers. I am disappointed that this expansion pack did not change the way that the game is played but it did fix some graphical glitches and added new things. I hope that the other expansion pack to this game does not do the same thing. I recommend this game to you if you already have Battlefield 1942 (PC), it would not hurt getting this expansion pack; just don't be expecting anything spectacular. If you are wondering if this game is still fun to play online then it was without the expansion pack then I had to say that it is. You will get your money's worth for playing online, but that of course is if you enjoy the original.
