After playing the PC version which was horrible… I got a chance to check out this version at a friend's house… He really doesn't have a good choice of games to buy except like major hits… The only difference between the two versions is that this one is on a TV and uses a controller; otherwise it is the same horrible game. Now the reasons why either versions is mainly because of the gameplay… The game's gameplay is missing a mini-map. Now mini-map are standard in these type of games should be slandered for any game made past the year 2000. I mean its really said that a game does bad when all it needs is a mini-map. However, there are other gameplay issues with this game. There are a few glitches here and there which are very annoying after awhile. The storyline is average; it's nothing to fancy. The replay value is horrible due to the fact the gameplay is horrible. The graphics and sounds are all right. This version of Mafia is not that different from the PC version, my conclusion is that Mafia is just a bad game. I don't recommend either version. Just go out and buy GTA III, VC or True Crime but not this game. Avoid this game at all costs.
