In my opinion Jade Empire is one of the best RPG games that I have ever played. Jade Empire. This game is a game that would make you buy a console. It is one of the best games of its generation. For the Xbox, the top three games, in my opinion, are Halo 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Jade Empire. These three games alone are enough entertainment that you wouldn't need anymore games. I mean I am really amazed and I was entertained with these three games more then any other games on the console. The Gameplay of this game is fabulously amazing and what made it better was the addicting storyline. The Gameplay is basically like KOTOR but it is set in a different environment. The change of environments was not what I had expected it to be. I thought that it would be basically KOTOR, however, it is just so much more. The Gameplay is simple, like in KOTOR! It is easy to get used too and very detailed. Now that combined with a storyline beyond my imagination was just amazing. I played this game 2 times around one good and one bad. The storyline is full of twists and turns and it truly is amazing. Lots of different paths to take to end up in a different game experience each time. This is what RPG games should be all about! The graphics where amazing and just very detailed in the environments, creatures, characters, fighting styles. I mean it all came together and it looked good. Now what is more amazing is that there are slight movies that take off in certain area, like KOTOR but are more game looking, which I thought was just amazing. The sound effects are also great. Every sound effects and music went exactly with the game, truly amazing. Replay value is good, with you playing this game 2x ( one good one bad) and then the fun mini games will last about 40 or so hours of gameplay. Everything about this game is so fantastic but what is wrong with it you ask? Well, there is a couple of issues that I did experience. One, the load times where annoying as I don't know what, especially in the arena. Two, there where sometime glitches I experienced in combat, but they where rare. When I say the screen during loading and it said "Save often" That means save often or regret it, and doing apart of this game again is not fun and can get frustrating. Other then these two problems there are no other problems with this game, which I came upon. Well, basically if you own a Xbox and want an action/RPG game, then this is the perfect game for you.
