The 5th game I had played on the PSP handheld system and there is two things I must say about the PSP. One, the graphics are just amazing and two, this is got to be one of the most uncomfortable system to play racing games on. I don't know if it is me or what but 30 minuets in two a racing game is just so uncomfortable. I mainly got the PSP for watching movie and playing games on long road trips. I didn't come to the conclusion that racing games are not for the PSP, or any game that has to do with car/s. They are very uncomfortable playing 30 minuets into the game. But beside this fact, Twisted Metal is very fun for the PSP; it's just uncomfortable to play. However, other then the controls, the gameplay is pretty good. Frustrating (because of the controls) at times but the gameplay is good. There are 11 levels in this game pretty sort but if they made anymore it would be really repetitive, so no complains there. The storyline fits in very nicely with the game plot. It really adds a lot more fun to the gameplay, but it is not a perfect storyline. If you are big on storylines then you will be like this is the dumbest thing ever, but if you are not and enjoy an average storyline then it will be great for you. Out of 5 games that I have played on the PSP this game has got to have the worst graphics. I am sorry but I know that this game could have had a lot better graphics. The sound effects are average, there is nothing to brag about or complain about. The replay value is low to average depending on your style of gaming. Some people will beat the game and that's it some will play it more. The replay value could be a lot better but the game lack quality sound effects, great PSP graphics, solid storyline, and perhaps a little bit better gameplay. I would recommend this game if you are a fan of the series, everyone else might want to wait for a price drop or just give it a rent.
