Now that I think about it, there is a reason this game is rare. It's just too bad to be mass produced. I can't quite fathom why everyone is wanting this game so badly. People were paying $150 for the Japanese import, and then the American release came and it was only $20, and a waste of $20 at that. This review is based on the import though, so here's my breakdown:
Graphics: They graphics aren't very good at all. It just a bunch of cylindar polygons put together to somewhat resembe DBZ characters. The backgrounds are also really bad. An example being a white ground with a small temple in the background. Woo...exciting.
Gameplay: Not only is the fighting slow, but it's too repetative and boring. It's hard to pull off moves and such. If you are able to pull off a power move, they have an option where player 2 can counter it by shooting one of his own. Now, this would have been a cool "battle" feature...if they would give you more than a split second to pull off the counter. Yawn...
Overall: Booooring. Skip this game. Whether it's the Japanese game or the American game, don't waste your effort or money.
