Dual Hearts was, you know, one of those games your friend buys, and them not really being gamers, you think they are dumb for liking it just because it looks like one of those low-quality, budget games that no one likes and/or cares about.  Well, needless to say, one of my friend's bought the game, and I was one of those that never cared about the game because it looked dumb.  However, he finished it, said it was alright, and suggested that I try it.  So I figured "Ah, what the heck.  I'm not playing anything else right now anyway." As I started playing the game, I really wasn't that interested in it.  I would play it for like 5 minutes a day, for about 2 weeks.  Then I put it away.  About a week after that, I realized that it wasn't my game, and I needed to either finish it, or return.  So, I got up, and started playing it.  This time around, I put in more than 5 minutes a day.  It turned into maybe and hour or so a day.  To tell you the truth, the game became really interesting.  The characters became more-to-life and you started to care for them more as the stroy progessed.  Plus, the fighting became more fun once you started to learn more moves.  In the end, what I found was a truely overlooked game.  (I found out later it was overlooked for one reason: It came out at the same time as Kingdom Hearts, which everyone picked it over Dual Hearts) All in all, I must say Atlus really suprised me with this game.

Graphics: Though they aren't the best the PS2 could offer, they were by no means bad.  They are the 3D/anime looking graphics.  The world map is nice, as are the dungeons.
Gameplay: They game is a run around, kill everything sort of game, with puzzles thrown in for the dungeons.
Sound: Some of the music is awesome, yet some is not so good.  THe voices are pretty good also.
Control: The controls are very easy.  Moves are not a problem to pull off at all.
Replayability: Moderate.  I would say, that if you own this game, you would probably play it 2-3 times, just to try and get everything in the game.

Pros:
-the story is pretty good
-the characters are very likeable
-the graphics are nice, yet not the best
-the game controls really easily

Cons:
-the game is very easy.  The dungeon puzzles take no thought, the bosses are easy...basically, you might die once or twice in the whole game.
-it is a pretty short game.  Maybe 10-12 hours? But, all in all, it is decent enough in length.

Overall, I give the game a 9.  It is a suprisingly, really good game.  It just has a fun factor that pushes the game really high.  It is just one of those cutesy types of games that no one should overlook.
