Capcom is making 5 exclusive titles for the Gamecube.  The first being P.N.  03, this being the second.  Since P.N.  03 was a big let down in my book, I was sceptical of Viewtiful Joe.  I went to the local gaming store that I usually go to, and they had the demo of the game.  I was like, "Sure, why not." and gave it a try.  My god...SWEET JESUS.  The demo helped me...no, forced me to buy this gaming masterpiece.  The day this game finally came out, my heart smiled from left atrium to the ventricles, and back up to the right atrium.  When I say masterpiece, that is an understatement.  Viewtiful Joe is more than that.  It's a legend in itself.  This is by far the best Gamecube game of the year, even passing Wind Waker in my book.  Capcom has pulled through for me this time around.  The graphics are very nice.  2-D cel shade on somewhat and sometimes 3-D stages.  The moves and colors are beautiful, I mean, viewtiful.  The sound is alright.  There is no real groundbreaking music, but it isn't horrid either.  The real cheese is in the gameplay.  Holy mother of cows, the people who came up with this game should be awarded with golden statues of themselves.  The gameplay is action based, with 3 tpyes of modes: Slow, Mach Speed, and Zoom.  You use these combonations of modes to pull off certain moves, and look cool.  The length of the game isn't that long.  I think my final time was 6 hours and 11 minutes, but it has replayabilty by far.  You unlock other chartacters that you can play as in place of Joe, and a weird music video.  The controls are flawless, and the story is pretty funny, and really, really cheesy.  But all in all, this is among the gods of games.  Go out and buy this game now.  Henshin-a-go-go baby!
