The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is easily the best Zelda game I have ever played. It has all the elements that make a single game amazing and very fun. In the days of the SNES this game was high calibur, and even today, few games beat it in pure addictiveness. Here's why:
Graphics: At the time this game released, the amount of colors and detail that was laid out into this world is simply gorgeous. From every village to mountaintop to dungeon, the game just looks great. Some of the best on the SNES.
Gameplay: The game really shines in this area. The game is not only huge, but really fun. With 2 worlds (Light and Dark), plenty of items to manuver with, and lots of extras to find, you will play this game for a while. There is just so much to offer in this game.
Music: The music is really good. It has nice, digital tunes that are ear catchers, and as you keep playing, you might find yourseld whistling or humming along.
Replay: The game offers loads of replay value. I bought this game when it first game out and still play it every now and then. It's just one of those games that you will keep turning to and play until your hearts content.
Overall: A Link to the Past is definately the shining diamond of the Zelda series. With a huge world, fun gameplay, and lots to explore and find, the game is just, to sum it up in one word, perfect. If you have never played this game, PLAY IT!
