Metal Gear Solid 2.  The anticipated sequel to Metal Gear Solid.  Kojima was at it again.  Stealth espionage action game with one of the coolest characters ever...Snake and his mullet.  One problem...this adventure did not only include Snake...

Graphics: Top notch.  The character models are insanely real looking, and all the details are crazy.  Every single item you view in the game looks real.  Even the weather effects, like rain, are very detailed.  This is one area of the game that no one can say is bad.

Gameplay: All the gameplay of the orginal MGS, plus more, such as hanging from ledges, first person view mode, and barrel rolls.  However, the downfall comes about an hour into the game...Raiden.  Something happens to Snake and you take control of a pansy ass girly man who flings his hair all around in gay-like fashions.  I'm suprised they didn't let him wear high heels on this secret mission.

Characters: All of them are good, except for 2...and those 2 characters are what kept this game from getting a 10.  Raiden...obviously (I don't think anyone like him) and Ninja.  Yes, you heard me, Ninja.  First of all...IT ISN'T EVEN NINJA!!!  Give me a break.  If you want to get my butt all excited, at least throw in some catchy twist about Grey Fox not dying and him still kick loads of ass.  But no...Ninja is a girl.  Blah blah blah.  All my hopes.  One-third of the game is Snake, and that's it.  The other two-thirds is Raiden, and he is...well, see the above description.

Replayability: If you want to unlock some cool stuff like you could in the original, like the Bandana and stealth, then you must play through the game a few times and collect the dog tags on each soilder.  Oh, and there are more modes of difficulty, so to try each of those at least once is another 5 times through.  But, after you play the game like 10 times, it still only really seems like once.  The game is really short, but that's okay, because it is also really great.

Overall: Get this game.  You will be amazed.  Even if you haven't played the original, which I know a lot of people haven't, it is still an awesome game to play through.  No renting needed, just buy.  You will love Kojima's work in this game...minus Raiden.  But, Raiden just makes you appreiciate the Mullet Master even more.
