A great game remade for portable fun! The game is basically a port of the 64 game, so if you've played it, then you know what you are getting into.
Graphics: The graphics are the same as the 64 version, just touched up and made to look a litte better. But for a handheld, that's saying something.
Gameplay: It's Mario! It's fun. You have levels to beat, collect stars, use the stars to unlock other levels, fight Bowser, find Peach.
Control: This was my biggest beef with the game. Using the stylus is a pain, and using the D-pad takes some getting used to. The game was originally built to play using an analog stick, so the D-pad with jump sometimes. Other than that, the game controls fine. No biggie problems at all.
Extras: The extras make this game worth owning, even if you have the original. You can now play as Mario, Luigi, Wario, or Yoshi. There are 30 new stars to collect, and an additional multiplayer mode. Woot!
Overall: A great port of a great game. If you have a DS, you should definately check this game out.
