I guess there isn't really much I can say about Zoo Keeper. If I break it down, it will be really short, but since that's the way I do my reviews, here it goes:
Graphics: Zoo Keeper is a 2-D game, but with very smooth graphics. There is nothing amazing looking about this game at all, but it is very colorful and very crisp. The animals are all drawn humorously, as well as the humans. Though not amazing, they are by far not bad. At least there are no jaggies...
Gameplay: Zoo Keeper is basically Bejeweled with animals instead of jewels. Bejeweled is addictive, Zoo Keeper is addictive. There are also different modes to choose from, adding to the life of this game. The game is also suprising challenging. It will keep you busy for a while, and keep you wanting to have your initials in the rankings.
Control: A big factor when it comes to DS games I think. The top screen just depicts animals that are "lucky" (or of high bonus points) each level, while the touch screen is used to swap animals via the stylus. Perfect control for a game of this type. Overall: As Zoo Keeper is really nothing original or amazing and groundbreaking, it is still a fun, addictive game. Plus, now at the $20 price tag, I would recommened any puzzle nut who owns a DS to pick it up. Just give it a try, you might be sucked in, you might not. I was. I can't put Zoo Keeper down. Must...get...high...score...ugh...
