Chaos Legion is exactly the type of game I thought I would like. I guess I spoke too soon. A hack-and-slash featuring you the hero, and his evil friend, blablahblah. Think Dynasty Warriors with a darker, more surreal theme.
It basically forces you to attack and defeat each and every weak opponent till you're free to move onward in the stage, trying to complete a legion or something. Oh and when I compared it to Dynasty Warriors, forget the free roaming part. Your not going anywhere except dead ahead down the paths. When you get to the bosses, you attack, run away, attack run away. Not very fun or addictive, especially after countless times before.
Not to say I'm against the entire game. It also displays some rpg-ish qualities like powering up you and your Legions. (The pokemon-like beings you call on for help in battle) A cool litle gimmick, but it is basically the same idea.
Not a very original concept in some cases, but it has its moments. This one would probably be a rental for most people.
