Double Dash!! is a sequel of Mario Kart 64, N64 version. It has the same "rules" as prequel, but there are also plenty of new things.
Firstly, in Double Dash!! there are two Nintendo characters in one kart. You can control them on one joypad, or play with your friend steering one character for each player. One player is steering kart, the second is tossing items. This function is called cooperative.
Secondly you can play up to 16 players, connecting your consoles by LAN. It's really fun!
OK! I know that some people haven't heard about Mario Kart, and I will explain them what it is. Mario Kart is a circuit of the famous Nintendo characters. But it isn't an ordinary circuit. You can collect items on the track, and use them to help. You can toss a shell at the opponnent, or get turbo speed using a mushroom.
Double Dash!! hasn't got beautiful textures or polygons, but it is very dynamic - 60 frames per second all the time! Music in this game is quite good, but can be annoying after a few hours. One player mode is short, but multiplayer will never bore you! And multiplayer has very interesting modes, like battle, or sun thief. See for yourself!!
