There have been so few RPG's on the Gamecube that I was tempted to buy a PS2. Until I heard about this game. I waited for months until it came out, and it was very much worth the wait.
The story keeps you playing like a good book keeps you reading, for hours and hours on end.
The voice-overs are extremely well done, and the only problem I have about this is that they should have had more voiceover scenes.
The graphics in the towns and dungeons are excellent, possibly the best on the GCN. The overworld looks a little outdated, though. The overworld enemies have no details whatsoever.
The battle system is hard to learn at first, but once you master it, it is fun to rack up insane combo attacks.
Plus, you can play with your friends.
This is by far, the best RPG on the GC, and one of the best ever.
