Fire emblem is the best game I have ever played. It's a role playing game with a lot of strategy involved. The troops that join you, are not something that you can just readily sacrifice, in order to beat the chapter. Each character has their own distinct personality. I haven't beaten it yet, but I've been playing the game without losing one character. All the characters (except Merlinus the merchant) die for good once defeated in battle. I love this game alot, and for all those strategy, or RPG fans, I reccomend this game.
