GTA 3 and Vice City boast virtual cities where anything is possible. The gameplay is so open ended in both these titles that you can solve any problem anyway you like. Here is how the games stack up.
The Good stuff.
I'm pretty much going to say everything in this game is good. The graphics are good, especially the colors used to help flesh out the mood and feel of the cities. The sound is great because you can play whatever you want with the custom soundtrakc feature. The radio stations built into the games are pretty good on there own as well. As for gameplay this is where GTA has always shined. The gameplay is open ended and limitless. The variety in missions keeps things interesting and gets you to explore the city more. You don't feel like doing a mission? Fine, grab a car and cause a ruckus. Want to shoot stuff? Go nuts, shoot everything that moves and get caught up in a battle between you and many cops. Instead of going on forever about the gameplay it can simply be said that you can do what you want when you want.
The so-so
I would say that there is no bad thing to either of these games. What could be considered bad by some I guess are the somewhat "blocky" graphics for the humans. Also the camera some times messes up a bit but that doesn't happen often.
Last Words.
Considering how much these games have to offer I'm willing to over look two very minor issues. Pop either game in and you'll be having so much fun you won't have time to knit pick over anything. Virtual cities that offer tons of possibilities and fun await you in the GTA double pack.
