When I picked up Grandia II, I wasn't sure what to expect. I played it on Dreamcast, and I was expecting a LITTLE different on the PS2. But it's about the same, with a few things added. Here is what I i think
Gameplay- 8/10- The story is great. The battle system is pretty good. I like how the mana eggs and stuff are used. The only flaw is the lag in some areas of the game. Overall it's pretty good
Sound 7/10- Some of the sounds are repetitive. The voices were some good added stuff, but over all it's a little bland.
Replay Value- 8/10- It's good to replay once or twice. But not over and over again.
Tilt and value- 8/10- it's not a bad game to put into your collection
Graphics- 7/10- It looks too much like the dreamcast game. But not too shabby. just one thing- WHERE ARE THEIR MOUTHS!
Overall. I would say rent the game first. If you like it, then buy it. 7.5/10.
