Mario evolve into 3-D on Super Mario 64 which become a big hit. Now Nintendo makes a sequel to one of the best games call Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo Gamecube. Which is another big hit.
The gameplay it's very similar to Super Mario 64. You collect coins in some missions, cool boss fights, solve puzzles,etc. The new thing on this game is Fludd a nozzle that will help you clean Isle Delfino. In other words is your weapon. With Fludd Mario can drench enemies, solve puzzles, and even take to the skies. Mario on this game runs, swims, slides, he makes spin jumps, ground Pounds, wall kicks and wall-jumps to the highest heights. In Super Mario 64 you need it to collect stars. On this game you collect shine sprites. Yoshi also appears in the game. He can spit juice but he must eat fruits to have juice. Mario can also: hang, climb, grab and revolve gates. They are also different nozzles: Hover Nozzle, Rocket Nozzle and Turbo Nozzle. With hover nozzle you can hover for a limited time, Rocket Nozzle can blast you to high places and Turbo Nozzle will make you fast. But you must find Rocket Nozzle and Turbo Nozzle. Squirt is to throw water. But at the beginning you start with squirt and Hover Nozzle. But some detail I forgot is you need to always Fill up Fludd because then you might not have water to throw or use. But that is no worry because you can fill it up in any places that has water. And last but not least Mario offers lots of cool boss fights.
Super Mario Sunshine offers well done graphics. The details on every characters are excellent and all the worlds look very pretty too. But sometimes some things look blocky.
The music is one of my favorites I heard specially the boss fight music. Sound effects are well done too. Good voice acting by each character. Finally I hear Bowser in English.
Story: Mario, Peach and an entourage of Toads have come to Isle Delfino to relax. Suddenly a person who looks exactly like Mario ruins the Island putting graffiti in the whole Island. So the Islanders think it was Mario's fault and they command him to clean the whole island or they will never leave. And because of this terrible mess the Shine Sprites left the Shine Gate the place they live which are the Shines that make Isle Delfino shine. So is up to Mario and with the help of Fludd to clean the whole island and find all of the Shine Sprites.
If you like Super Mario 64 then you are going to like this one. The game worth the price specially now that is on $19.99. It delivers lots of different of gameplay. 1
If your a Mario fan then go buy it. If your new to Mario then rent it. If you like platform games then this one is really for you. If you love the game just because of reading my review then go buy it.
