Sonic Battle is just like Super Smash Brothers Melee but for the Gameboy Advance. What makes it different is that you play with Sonic and Friends to stop Dr.Eggman plans once again. Each character have there own story. But you must unlock them first. So you play has sonic first. You got different powers like tornado, fireballs and all that kind of stuff. While most of the time in singleplayer you will be reading. Still the story was fun and interesting. But if you don't like reading then you will be on battle mode. Were you can fight any time with any character you want. And you have this robot call Emerl that you can that learns your moves and then you can put them to him so he can become stronger. Or you will be playing with your friends using the link cable. There are also some cool minigames but you can only play them with your friends.
The graphics in this game were in full 3d. The arenas and the characters look awesome. You can see how the graphics in handheld games are evolving. And soon to be complete with Nintendo DS and PSP.
Easy and simple. Is not like other fighting games when you need to push 2 buttons or more at the same time. Moving your character is easy. No complains in here.
Amazing sound effects and good music. But the music is not really a lot cool like sonic heroes or any sonic 3D game. But still it was decent enough.
While multiplayer is really fun. And the battles are good. In story mode there is too much reading. Still challenge mode and battle will keep you playing this game for a long time.
Sonic Battle is a unique game because there is not a fighting game for gameboy that is like Super Smash Brothers Melee. I recommend it for Super Smash Brothers Melee fans. Sonic fans well perhaps they will like it or perhaps not.
