Baldur's Gate is a great game, especially at it's current greatest hits price. Baldur's Gate is a hack and slash action-rpg which also allows for two-player cooperative play. Playing alongside a friend in this game is the best part about it. The single player mode is very fun, but when you can do it with a friend, it makes the game even better.
The graphics in Baldur's Gate are very well done, and the character detail is good, including undergarments, if you unequip all armor/clothing from your character. The game also has an interesting storyline along which the game moves.
The only things that disappointed me about the game is that I thought the camera could have been a little closer to the players when they are in the dungeons. I also would have liked to be able to choose from more than three premade characters, or make my own.
This is a very fun, well-done game with just a few places where it can be better. A solid game, I give it an 8 out of 10.
