Being someone that's played the R-Type games in the past. 
 
I went into playing this game knowing that there would be times i would die.  Also times i'd get frustrated or upset.

Over-hyped.  R-Type Final features some horrible clunkiness at every stage.  First, the game doesn't auto-save for some unknown reason.  Second, you can never continue a game from anywhere other than the beginning of the game.  And third, although...    [ Read The Full Review... ]

I just picked this up yesterday, so my comments are based on a limited amount of play time.  That in mind, this game is just what I was hoping it would be.
