Carry a big stick, and you don't need to say much! That is what this game does. The characters don't talk much and when they do, you can't even understand half of their sub titles, never mind their language. Just one puzzle...

an amazingly beautiful game!
the graphics are wonderful to look at, and really shows the ps2's power.
the story is great, and keeps you playing, as does the innovative gameplay.
my only qualm about this title...

Captivating game. A nice break from Twisted Metal Black, GTA3, DMC and other MA's. I love the animation of the boy with horns, he runs like a boy!
Anyhow, the game is nicely done, graphics are beautiful, (some of the best...

Ico is one of those rare games that can use the minimum of dialogue and gameplay to maximum effect. You grab a ghostly girl by the hand and try to escape the castle with each other. But Yorda isn't as agile as you so you have to find a way round...

The story was very original and really drew you into the whole tale. A little boy is locked in an old castle and left to die because he is different, help him escape and save the life of friend he meets along the way. This game was a very...

Most people when confronted with a video games that has more of the story in the instruction manual than the actual game would shy away. I thrived. This beautifully achieved title caused quite a stir when it was released, and that murmur of...

THE GOOD: Artistic creativity and sensibility unequalled in any videogame. The devs succeed in creating an interactive fairy tale complete with a massive stone castle set on a misty, sun-soaked coast. Shadowy imp-like entities appear to pull your...

Based on all of the praise and high reviews this game received, I was expecting to be blown away by this title. After having just finished the game I don't see what all of the fuss is about. I didn't hate it, but maybe my expectations were set too...

Ico is the most beautiful, clever and engrossing game that I have played in a long, long time! It's one of those games that every gamer should have the chance to appreciate! It's very unfortunate that it didn't sell particularly well at retail....

OK- so we've all heard about this game now- but unfortunatly not that many people have picked it up or played it- WHY WHY WHY!!
I actually traded my copy of MGS2 (which I hated) for this and never looked back since.
A game that is so...

Quite possibly the best game I've ever played. What I like about Ico is its stunning simplicity. All you have to do is help a girl to get out of a castle basically.
But somehow that interaction between you and the girl begins to...

ICO is the most beautiful adventure game I've ever seen and it delivers definitely the most fun of playing games.
First off, it doesn't require button smashing or thumb dumbing fighting or frustrated platform hopping. It only lets...

Ico is one of those few games that are true sleepers. It is a game that adheres to "less is more" design and cumulates to a spectacular game that challenges everything you though could be done with a hybrid platform/puzzle game.
What...

Ico holds a unique place in the minds of those who have played it. Some love it, praise it, and will tell others to try it every chance they get. Others despise it, feeling it is 'boring'. I will say now that I enjoyed my time with Ico immensely,...

This is the most beautiful game of all time…..FACT!!!!
The first thing I noticed when I played Ico was the lack of music/speech, which you normally expect to find in any of today's current games. This isn't a bad thing, far from it,...

The main thing I want to say about this game is that in some ways it is as good as a good novel. It is so immersive, so atmospheric, and so beautiful.

Solid third-person action/adventure game. The game is a good mix of fighting and what I call "destination puzzles"; go here - do that sort of stuff. I'm not a big fan of "finding a way from point A to point B" puzzles, but this game is unique...

There was once a time where games were looked upon as more of an art form, than anything else. Money didn't dictate what was released, and developers took chances on being innovative. As time went on, gaming was brought to the forefront of the...
