This was an excellent game, which rejuvenates not only the Castlevania series, but 2D gaming as well. Back to the 8 bit nintendo roots, but with updated graphics. Excellent gameplay. Enjoyed the DSS cards for abilities. The only drawback of...

I personally loved this game.
There hasnt been a decent Castlevania title since Symphony of the Night. This latest installment has made me go back and beat SotN once again!
This game keeps the great 2-d graphics and...

How a GBA advance version of Castlevania can be one of the best ever is beyond me. This dark game features familiar old school Castlevania scrolling action. But from there the game takes a bit of a twist from the conventional Castlevania...

Overall score on pook's 100-point system (TM): 85 rounded to 9. A few problems keep this game frustratingly from true excellence
-the breakdown-
Graphics (30/30, judged by era)- An early GBA game, but already a...

This game is very fun to play with and it is long to accompany me while I'm traveling. But this game becomes too easy once you obtain some card combinations that does hell lots of damage. So basically, once you find some cards by killing a few...

This is one of the all-time GBA classics! Even if you haven't been a fan of the Castlevania series (I wasn't) this game will captivate you like no other GBA game! This is my second favorite Game Boy game EVER (behind only Link's...

This game is the perfect addition to your GBA library. Although I would reccomend only buying this game if you own the GBA SP, to take full advantage of the backlight. It's a great game buy therein lies it's weakness. If you don't have the SP...

This is a great GBA game. Not quite as great as the Metroid series but definatly one to consider.
The graphics on this one are a little dark, so I don't recommend it for anyone else but the SP.
Other than that, everything...

Castlevania is a return to the roots of this storied Capcom franchise. While the current generation has attempted unsuccessful 3D games based on the Belmont family, this is the first to finally deliver. The premise is simple. You are Nathan...

The game plays like the classic 2D Castlevania games. This is 2D side scrolling at its best. Add in some RPG elements and this becomes...

The Castlevania franchises' first forray onto the GBA is, I am pleased to say, an excellent transition.
The first thing you will see in this game are the graphics, so I figure they are a good place to start this review. Characters are...

For some reason Castlevania: Circle of the Moon didn't really entertain me longer then 1 hour, after that it all got boring.
Take Symphony of the Night, and take away the cool Alucard with his sword, make the entire screen dark, and the...

Konami has been making sequels to the Castlevania series for over a decade, yet the tried and true formula is as good as it ever was. Circle of the Moon is the first GBA Castlevania game and it faithfully recreates the feeling of its console...

Graphics: 8 Really amazing graphics for the GBA, especially given how early it came out. But, the horror stories are true about not being able to see it without backlighting. If you own an SP, the dark backgrounds will not be a problem for you at...

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is wonderful game. It is pretty long on some modes. It is still way worth $19.99, though.
This game is tough, yet easy to play. I didn't even read the instructions before I play this game ,and I beat...

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon is a spectacular game that launched with the gameboy advance. It displays some of the prowess of the GBA, with crisp graphics and stunning music. The music in CotM is probably its best feature. The gameplay is...

I got say, this is the best Gameboy Advance title that I have played, I'm not a fan of Castlevania, I didn't even like it. But this game changed my mind. I like RPG games, so action games are not my type. But this game has like a RPG concept...

This is a FANTASTIC game! The only reason i didn't give it a 10, is because of how dark it is. Because of the GBA's screen...it's hard to see.
Castlevania: Circle of the moon stands out as one of the great castlevania. Many have...

For those unfamiliar with Castlevania: it's an action/adventure/platformer, and this one also has some RPG elements, so you level up when you defeat enemies, equip items, and use the DDS system (by combining magic cards, you get spells and weapon...

Castlevania is a lot of fun.... early in the game. In the later stages of the game I found it a bit repetetive, especially when you have to spend a couple of hours just trying to level up to beat the final boss.
Graphics and sound...

I'm not personally a Castlevania fan, maybe that why I'm not that harsh on the score, to start with, the beginning is pretty boring, just whip and jump, on my case I'd like somethng more demanding, however all the beggining of every gae are pretty...

Well, to tell you guys the truth, THIS is the game that got me to love the Castlevania series. I thought it was going to be a festering pile of suck like Castlevania II (haven't touched the entire series in 10 years), but I was totally blown away. ...

A great start the GBA legacy. COTM is very reminesent of symphony of the night for the playstation , which is a very good thing. Level progression is like metroid , where you have a pre-determined path but you can go off the beaten path to explore...
