Its 2005 and Halo is still one of the best shooters. Infact it's in the ranks of Doom, Goldeneye, Half-life as genre defining shooters. Halo's controls, gameplay and vehical combo mixed with a well written story equaled an epic shooter.

Halo does appear to be to be the best multiplayer option FPS for ALL THE CONSOLES. In fact, it's muliplayerability goes above and beyond perhaps even all the console FPS put together.
