This is one game anyone who really loves RPG's should stay clear of. PC gamers have been lucky enough to play some really good role playing games lately, but this is definitely not one of them.
To start with, the graphics are horrible. I don't know how else to put it. Terribly dated, they contain no true 3-D elements like I know them. The graphics contain horrible looking 2-D sprites that look very dated. Overall, the graphics are a major letdown.
The game's music and sound may be nice at times, but everything else in the game barely has any life in it. The gameplay is stale and repetitive. Basically, this is every other RPG put together without a thought to what might be innovative. Overall, the entire movement and combat system is too worn and old to be anything but boring.
It's not all that bad. The game is extremely large, and contains a large amount of the Might and Magic background. Still, though, these are the few good points. The story itself is boring and uninspired, there are some strange bugs and glitches, and nothing about this game makes you want to come back for more.
Simply put, this game doesn't deserve a purchase. There are many other RPG's out there that do the job much better, and will make you happier in the end. Day of the Destroyer is just too much of the old, without anything new to offer.
