David Beckham is a soccer player. His biggest accomplishment to date has taken place off the field, however, nailing ex-Spice Girl Victoria Adams in the sack, which, admittedly, is no small feat. If I had managed to pull this off, perhaps I could get my own video game. However, a game about Beckham banging Adams would have been more interesting than this clunker. It's a mess.
The graphics of the field are green. That's easy. The characters, though, are sloppy, not very well animated, and it becomes very hard to distinguish between your team and the opposition. No goal.
The gameplay is also an exercise in crap, as it's you vs. the world, with no team strategy whatsoever. You simply shoot in 3 directions. Yes, three. As for the AI? There is none. No goal.
I can't rate the sound, because aside from the menu, there is none. Goal: N/A.
Mr. Beckham needs to stick with what he knows, getting paid a ridiculous amount of money for kicking balls around and banging really really ho t chicks, and stay away from video games. He'd be doing us all a favor.
