If there's one thing you can say for Tak 2, it's that the graphics are killer. If the gameplay was half as fluid as the animations, this would be one of the Game Boy Advance's must haves. As it is, you have a beautiful game that plays at a strictly average level.
Tak wasn't exactly a stunner on the home consoles, but at least it had some humorous moments, thanks to the well-written cutscenes. There's none of that here, and most of the game's humor doesn't translate well into text. The visuals are nice, the sound is decent, but the gameplay is painfully bland. There's nothing exceptionally bad here, but there's nothing extraordinary, either. This genre is extremely well represented on the Game Boy Advance, and thus, it's tough to give such a mediocre game a recommendation.
