The new Rayman GBA adventure can't compete in the saturated GBA platform game market. Taking the 3/4th isometric overhead route, guiding Rayman with the preciseness the game's difficult jumps require is a daunting task. The targeting system makes combat flow a good deal smoother than in similar titles, but overall, the game just never manages to be more than the sum of its parts. It looks pretty good for a GBA title, but looks aren't everything.
