Like the late, great Rodney Dangerfield, the arcade racing cornerstones within Midway Arcade Treasures 3 can't get any respect. Games like Rush: The Rock suffer from issues related to poor emulation, while some, like Konami-developed Race Drivin', suffer mostly from the passage of time. And S.T.U.N. Runner? Well, that one's just downright broken.
Obviously you can't judge a compilation like this on its technical merits, but for whatever reason, the golden oldies on this disc are treated more like terminal nursing home patients waiting to die alone and penniless. Shame on Midway for degrading its history in such a manner for a quick buck.
