The fourth installment in this city-building series moves east from the Mediterranean to ancient China. In Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, you can create cities, conquer new territories, build monuments, and fight off the Mongols and other invaders. The game introduces new commodities, such as bean curd, millet, rice, tea, silk, and more. This time, you can play with up to eight players in both competitive and cooperative modes. You can work with other players on engineering projects, including China's Great Wall and the 1,200-mile Grand Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou.
