The Medieval: Total War - Viking Invasion expansion pack takes the action to 793, a time when the Vikings descended from their Scandinavian homeland and began raids on Europe. Now you can play in an all-new Viking campaign with new playable factions, new historical heroes, and new units, such as the Viking Berserkers, Saxon Huscarles, Frydmen, and more. New weapons let you torch castles and villages with flaming arrows, and you can even pour boiling oil from the castle gates. You must build an empire using trade, diplomacy, subterfuge, and the art of war.
