Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun puts you in command of a nation from the early 19th century to the dawn of the 20th century. You must develop your nation into a great power by building up its military might, industrialization power, and national prestige. You can order your soldiers to explore the inner parts of Africa and the Americas, develop Gatling guns and repeater rifles for land troops, and crush various armies. The game focuses on diplomacy, warfare, and economy, in addition to industrialization, colonization, technological development, and political simulation.
