| Devil Drift Car | Finish in first place on the Rivelta Crinale race in Duel Mode to unlock the Devil Drift car for Free Run, Time Attack, and Duel Modes. |
| Duel Mode | Finish in first place in both the lap and overall times in the Standard Time Attack GP. |
| McLaren F1 Clone Car | Finish in first place on the Kamata Angelus race in the Duel Mode to unlock the McLaren F1 Clone Car for the Free Run, Time Attack, and Duel Modes. |
| Unlock Ghost Cars | To unlock the 4 ghosts on mopeds for free run and duel modes, finish first place in the secret Pac Man Grand Prix. |
| Volkswagen Beetle | Finish in first place in the Solort Rumeur race in Duel Mode to unlock the new Volkswagen Beetle car for the Free Run, Time Attack, and Duel Modes. |

Modes
| Unlockable | How to Unlock |
|---|---|
| 99 Lap Mode | Set the top score in every race of the Time Attack GP in the Extra Mode, finishing in first place in all of them. |
| 99 Trial Endurance Race | Unlock this mode by unlocking all the secret cars or travelling a distance of 999 km. |
| Pac-Man Mode | Race more than 3,000 kilometers in total distance to get a red car with a Pac-Man driver. The Pac-Man Ghosts on scooters will race against the Pac-Man Car. |
| Select Car Number | To select your car number, complete the 99 Endurance Race and it will change your car number to 01 and unlock a new mode which allows you to select your car number. |
| Ultimate Maximum Grand Prix | Race and win all the Standard and Extra GPs in Hard Mode. The Ultimate Maximum GP will then appear. |

Secrets
Control the Intro
During the intro, press L1 and R1 to cycle through three different effects for the portion that uses the in-game graphics. Press R1 once for black and white graphics. Press R1 twice for graphics with a yellow tint. Press R1 three times to add blurriness. Press L1 to cycle back through the various effects.

Some Fun Useless Information On the Screen
When you are racing in the third person view, hold Select to show information onscreen that includes the amount of pressure you are using on the controller buttons.
