| Unlock Additional Outfits for the Default Characters | Complete any songs with Gold or Platinum Records in "Showtime" mode. Gold Record unlocks one set of outfit while Platinum Record unlocks two outfits. |
| Unlock Bub | Earn a Platinum Record for one song on each of the eight venues in Showtime Mode. |
| Unlock Cherry | Earn at least a Gold Record for one song on each of the eight venues in Showtime Mode. |
| Unlock Harmony | Complete "Arcade" mode in "Intermediate" mode with all Platinum Records to unlock Harmony as a playable character. Harmony only has one outfit. |

Glitches
Easy Platinum Record on End of the World
You can easily get the platinum record for the song ''It's the End of the World as We Know It'' by singing the note for the phrase ''Eye of a hurricane....'' and just holding it out for the entire verse (don't worry about lyrics)

Extra Points / Longer Song
After loading a song, eject the disk and the music will stop playing, but the words will continue to scroll. Sing. Eventually, re-insert the disk and the music will load, but in the same place it left off. Press pause and un-pause and the music and lyrics will be in sync. Repeat if wanted. Now you can get a higher score on harder levels.
